Hey guys! We’ve been hard at work editing all of 2011’s weddings but are super excited to share an engagement session sneak peek with you today!  Elizabeth and Stephan were AWESOME sports during this cold cold day in downtown Detroit.  While we were not able to get inside Comerica Park as we had hoped, we were able to capture all the amazing details on the outside of this awesome builiding that make is so memorable.  I must say that even though I loss feeling in my fingers for a little due to the weather, it was totally worth it to capture the tenderness between these two!  We are so excited to be a part of this lovely couples wedding day this coming year, and hope you enjoy their photographs!  As always thank you for making our blog a part of your day!

It’s engagement photo time again! We are so excited to share a sneak peek of Ben and Dena’s engagement photos with you.  We had suggested Stoney Creek Metro park as a shooting location for this couple and were super excited  to find out it was actually where Ben proposed!!  So we decided to make it even better and do the shoot at sunset.  It was a great time and the photos turned out beautiful!   We are excited to share them with you and hope you enjoy!  As always thank you for making our blog a part of your day! Hey guys!  We are so excited today to share with you some amazing engagement photos!!  Francesca and Chris spend their summer weekends out on the lake on the boat having a great time!  We were so excited when they shared their awesome idea of taking their engagement photos doing just that!  We were super lucky to have a beautiful day to capture these two and the love between them.  It was an awesome time because they are truly wonderful people!  Speaking of love, I challenge you all to find the word ‘love’ in one of the photos… I sneaked it in because I thought it was perfect!  Also, you will notice that our normal bottle cap watermark is gone! No reason to be blue though, our new watermark is awesome and not only has a plum soda bottle as the ‘L’ in our name, but the bottle cap is the ‘O’! We would never just get rid of it all together!  Enjoy the photos and as always, thank you for making our blog a part of your day!

Hey guys! Anne and Jesse are an awesome couple from California with Michigan roots who will be getting married in July of 2011. On their last visit home we got the chance to take their engagement photographs in downtown Farmington Hills which proved an awesome setting! From a huge purple wall to a vintage taxi, we really got the chance to be creative. We hope you enjoy their beautiful photographs and Jesse I hope you love the editing we did with the yellow flower

Hey guys! Whew…August is already proving to be our busiest month yet and we couldn’t be happier!  We are also very excited at the variety of locations we are getting to do video and photography at.  Speaking of which, here is a glimpse at the engagement photos we took for Margo and Nick.  This couple was a blast to photograph and up for anything creative and fun we threw at them.  Nick is from Canada and Margo is for the US so they had the idea for us to  photograph them at the Ambassador Bridge being that it connects both countries.  They found a great park that had all kinds of fun sculptures and most importantly beautiful views.   You might also notice we are introducing our new watermark on their photos.  We might still use the Plum Soda Productions glass here and there, but we are in love with our new PSP bottle cap logo.  We hope you enjoy the photos and as always thank you for making our blog a part of your day!

This weekend we photographed Derrica and Deon at the Detroit Institute of Arts in Detroit Michigan.  After some VERY thorough security measures we were allowed to photograph this couple in the beautiful settings that the DIA has to offer.  We also filmed their “How We Became Us” video in the Diego Rivera Court which provided a perfect setting and beautiful lighting.  Check out some of their photos below and look out for their video coming soon!

Not even an army of mosquitos could keep us from getting some great photographs of this fun loving couple!  We took Stephanie and John’s engagement photographs in the Nature Center of Dodge Park in Utica Michigan.  The park provided a geat natural setting and they even brought a tandem bicycle that we used as a fun prop.  We also filmed their “How We Became Us” video (to be posted here soon) at one of their favorite sushi restaurants.  Even though I learned the hard way how necessary bug spray is and ended up with 41 mosquito bites, we most importantly ended up with some amazing photos.  Check them out below and as always, thank you for reading and making our blog a part of your day!
