Okay folks, here it is! The long awaited video of Collin proposing to Sarah!  I hope you all enjoy watching it half as much as we enjoyed putting it together for them!  Congrats again you guys!

Words can’t express our joy at being able to be apart of this special day!  Sarah who is part of Plum Soda’s C.O.R.E. Photography Team got engaged this weekend at the Detroit Institute of Arts in Detroit Michigan.  Collin her now fiance had been planning this for weeks and had an amazing day planned for Sarah  which concluded with her finding her way through the DIA to where he was…waiting…with a ring and a question!!  I filmed the whole engagement as steady as I could because it was very emotional seeing such a close friend get proposed to!  We will have the video up here soon but for now you can check out some of the photos I took of him getting ready and after he had already popped the question.  Sarah and Collin we love you both and wish you nothing but the best!  Congratulations you guys!

This weekend we photographed Derrica and Deon at the Detroit Institute of Arts in Detroit Michigan.  After some VERY thorough security measures we were allowed to photograph this couple in the beautiful settings that the DIA has to offer.  We also filmed their “How We Became Us” video in the Diego Rivera Court which provided a perfect setting and beautiful lighting.  Check out some of their photos below and look out for their video coming soon!

Not even an army of mosquitos could keep us from getting some great photographs of this fun loving couple!  We took Stephanie and John’s engagement photographs in the Nature Center of Dodge Park in Utica Michigan.  The park provided a geat natural setting and they even brought a tandem bicycle that we used as a fun prop.  We also filmed their “How We Became Us” video (to be posted here soon) at one of their favorite sushi restaurants.  Even though I learned the hard way how necessary bug spray is and ended up with 41 mosquito bites, we most importantly ended up with some amazing photos.  Check them out below and as always, thank you for reading and making our blog a part of your day!

What a great time we had at Kelly and Josh’s wedding!  They were so in love and threw a great party for all their guests in Metamora, MI including a super fun totally original father daughter dance!  As an extra bonus we got to spend some time with Dominic, one of Tyler’s greatest friends who was visiting from Chicago and meet his adorable girlfriend, Lindsay.  We loved her and had a blast dancing with them both.  We have to admit that even though we were there as guest’s instead  of photo and video this time, we couldn’t quite help oursevles and got a few photos  Here are some of our favorites for the day….
